Sally was my godmother and will be missed. I have thought of her often, particularly when New Orleans was in the news. She was always a joy to be around. So sorry for her loss.

My entire life she was my next door neighbor. I remember going over when I was little and trying on jewelry and playing dress up. She also had a litter of puppies that I remember going and playing with at some point while really little. I will always remember how kind she was. I'll see you again Sally.

Back when I was working all over the country with John and with no place to hang my hat, Sally opened her heart and her home to me. I have never forgotten her kindness and generosity to me, and I only hope she knew how much I appreciated all she did. A truly kind and gentle soul, we'll miss you
