Julie Beth Johnson

BURLINGTON-Julie Beth Johnson, age 56, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at her mother's home in Madison. She was born on Sept. 7, 1958 at the Burlington Hospital in Burlington, Iowa. Julie graduated from Wapello High School in Illinois. She was living in Louisville, Kentucky, with her beloved horses and dog, and was working at every race track from Connecticut to Florida. Julie is survived by her mother, Mary Beth (Todd) Johnson; brother, Todd Johnson; sister, Kimberly (Darren) Trautner; nieces, Meredith and Marissa; and nephews, Tyler and Colby. She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Johnson. For all relatives, services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Morning Sun, Iowa. There will be a meet and greet at the Morning Sun Community Center following the service.
