Margaret Elaine (Williams) Cramer

MADISON- Margaret Elaine (Williams) Cramer, of Madison, went to meet Jesus her Lord on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, after a long illness. She had just celebrated her 88th birthday on November 4th. Margaret was born in Muskegon, Mich., on Nov. 4, 1927, to Roscoe and Alice (Brough) Williams. She was a graduate of Muskegon High School and Muskegon School of Business. Three of her passions were her family, her love of the Lord, and music. Margaret married the boy next door, Louis John Cramer in 1950. They have four children: Carol Lynn (Subhash) Tiwari; Linda Marie (Michael) Mishler; Dawn Louise (Tom) Seehafer; and David Daniel Cramer. Viola, violin, clarinet, and piano were instruments Margaret played. She sang in the church choir most of her life, as well as in quartets with her sisters and duets with Louis. Rogers and Hammerstein musicals were her favorite thing. In church, Margaret taught 4 year old Sunday school and did back yard flannel-graphs. She was on the board of Women's Aglow Ministries, and was chosen as the first deaconess of Evangel Assembly of God. Besides her four children, survivors include her sister, Nora (Williams) Lawson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Louis; her sisters, Doris (Williams) Hansen and Ruth (Williams) Smith; and brothers, Bobby Williams and Ron Williams. She was loved by all who met her. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, at 4 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, with Pastor Roger Olsen officiating. Burial will be held at FOREST HILL CEMETERY at 11 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
