Warren, I don't know if you remember me or not, I am Susan (Vanderhoof) Emmerich. I am the daughter of Merl and Rosemary Vanderhoof and granddaughter of Lee Smith. My brother Quincy, just read about your mother's passing in the Decatur paper. I am sorry for your loss. I was surprised that Aunt Jesse was still living. It seems that she lived a very long wonderful life. If you are interested in some of the family genealogy from you father's side of the family, I have the information that my mother and father collected and am trying to get the information scanned into the computer so that it will be easily accessible. I am putting it into family folders, one labeled Smith, so at some point in the future I could send it to you if you are interested. My e-mail address is mse2@frontier.com. I live in Robinson, Illinois.
Again, we are sorry for your loss, but pleased that your mother had a very long life.

Warren Dean I hope you remember me, I was the oldest Morgan girl. I remember when we lived on Meyer St, and I would go see your Mom and listen to a radio soap she liked, call Stella Dallas. I also liked to watch her make homemade noodles. I have often thought of you, and your Mom and Dad. I hope you are in good health, I am sorry for your loss. She was a very nice lady. Sincerely Freda Morgan Forth
