Paul Andrea "Dre" Hoye

Paul Andrae "Dre" Hoye was born June 12, 1961 the youngest of 10 children. Dre lost his battle with heart disease on Sunday January 3rd, 2016. Dre was preceded in death by his brother, William; his mother, Lucille (Hill) Hoye; his father, Willie Hoye Jr II; and his sister, Barbara (Hoye) Stewart. Dre was the father of four, Tanya, Zachery, Rochelle and Paul Jr.; and the stepfather of three, JJ, Julia and Debbie. Dre leaves behind eight grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa, De'Vonn and De'Anna (Tanya), Dylan (Zachery), Raven, Natasha and Issac (Rochelle), Kaleb and Kayden (Paul Jr.) and a host of grandchildren by his stepchildren who all call him Papa. Dre also leaves behind seven siblings, Lawrence, Freddie-Christine, Myra, Willie Jr. III, Kevin, Roshelle and Tyrone. Dre leaves behind some 60 plus nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Dre was greatly loved by his family, spoiled by his siblings who adored their younger brother. He will truly be missed. A memorial gathering for Paul will be held at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, on Sunday, January 10th 2016 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
