Bill and his family were neighbors of ours when we were growing up in Middleton. 15 years ago he married my Mom Marjorie, both in their 70's at the time, with lots of living still left to do in their lives. Bill was such a character, loved to tease and laugh.......famous for his handshake and comment "here's that five I owe you." Thank you to his children for sharing their Dad with the Adler/Yocum kids. Recently Bill would call me "Woodstock" because he couldn't remember my name. I live in Woodstock, Illinois and Mom and Bill would come visit us. I loved the way he would light up when he saw my Mom, called her his "child bride.' Rest in heavenly peace Billy, you will be missed.
Love,
Jeannie

We are sending our condolences to the entire family and hope your fond memories give you peace of heart. We have a lot of fun memories especially those spent at the house on the lake with Uncle Bill and Aunt Dorothy. My mom always got so excited to visit them because Uncle Bill would take such good care of her and spoil her! He will always be remembered as a very special uncle!
With Love and Hugs,

Sad to learn of Bill's passing. Condolences go out to all the family. I have fond memories of growing up around the corner from the Sawyer Clan. Spent many an overnight with Kathy in the middle school years. His legacy lives on in his children. Hugs to all of you! Mary (Hudson) Redders in Columbia, MO
