Marylin Kast-Banuelos'

WINDSOR-Marylin Marie "Mert" Kast-Banuelos', age 58, passed away peacefully at her home in Windsor, on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016. She was born on Nov. 26, 1957, in Madison, the daughter of Adrian and Barbara (Hopkins) Kast. Marilyn lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and making everyone laugh. She is survived by her life partner, Joe Banuelos'; children, Shelly Hines (Kyrie), Robert Voight, Stanley Voight (Susie), Joseph Banuelos', Marquita Jensen (Dustin); grandchildren, Aaron, Robert, Antonio, Zachary, Catrina, Allen, Lila, Thomas, Mykenzie, Justyce, Roland and Elias; siblings, Ruth Fox (Greg), Harvey Kast (Maria), Jerry Kast (Lisa), Florenda Watters, Albert Watters; in-laws, Felipe Banuelos' (Maria), Mary Kinney (Bart), Adam Banuelos' (Lori), Martin Banuelos' (Marie), John Banuelos', Evelio Banuelos', Cruz Banuelos', Jesse Banuelos, Pat Banuelos'; many step-brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews (great and great-great), who adoringly called her "Aunt Merty." Marylin was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Howie and Adrian Kast, Jr. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg, at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. A private family burial will be in the Kast Family Cemetery, Mt. Zion. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
