Severa "Vera" M. Bauman

My heart goes out to the Bauman family of Middleton and want to let you know you are being thought of and prayed for. I still smile when I gave Vera a hard time about her age and her coming right back at me with a witty comment about me not getting any younger! She was a special lady and I was glad to have known her.

My deep sympathy and condolences to all of Vera's family. She was a strong, resourceful, and gentle woman and a valuable community citizen. I will remember her especially as a poll worker, where I looked forward to seeing her regularly. I admired her courage and patience with her declining vision. I will always miss her.

I remember going to her house for Religion classes. She made learning fun and exciting. Couldn't have asked for a better teacher and role model, living the Christisn life. Thoughts and prayers for the Bauman family.
