Obituary
MADISON –Jerry Albrecht, age 72, of Madison, passed away peacefully at UW Hospital on Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was born in Summit Lake, Wis., on Aug. 19, 1943. Jerry married Barbara Jallings in 1963. He attended Central High School and worked at Webcrafters for over 35 years. Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Laura (Ed) Hunt and Karen (Chris) Hausen; grandchildren, Sean, Caitlin and Kevin Hunt and Noelle and Dylan Hausen; former wife and friend, Barbara Albrecht; sisters, Arlene Johnson and Beverly Irish; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Albrecht; parents, Stella (Earl) Fadness and Edward Albrecht; two brothers, Edward and Jim; and two sisters, Judy and Hazel. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison at 7 p.m., on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date.
