FITCHBURG/MADISON-Hazel M. Pittinger, age 89, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was born on Oct. 3, 1926, in London, England. Hazel was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church. Hazel leaves behind her cousin, Vida Anne Brown; lots of family in England and scattered throughout the world; and many, many loving friends. A memorial service will be held at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2951 Chapel Valley Rd, Fitchburg, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 with the Rev. Richard Johnson presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Hazel's ashes will be taken back to England by Vida Anne Brown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Hazel was a great real "lady" and will be missed by all who knew her. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Hazel, I shall miss talking to you on Skype most days. We have talked about so many things and laughed over the daftest things. I will never forget you laughing when I thought I'd made a funny.
