Kimberly "K" Baker

Kimberly was an incredibly special person with an immense capacity for caring. She came into my life during a particularly trying time for me. It was her job to help me through my struggles, but she made it more than that. At a time when I needed it most, she made me feel like someone actually cared about me. As quickly as she came into my life, our time ended and we were once again strangers. Even though I hadn't seen her in years, I had thought about her often. Some time ago I was at work and looked up to see that warm smile staring back at me. Even after all that time, she remembered me and took the time to ask how I was doing. When I told her I was doing well, she again seemed to be genuinely happy that my circumstances had improved. We need more people in this world like Kimberly. I am deeply sorry for your loss. She was a truly unique and special spirit.

For more than twenty years, K and Rick have been my dear friends. So many laughs, conversations, vacations together, sharing. I will never forget my dear K-mobile. Never, ever. And we will forever love and support our dear friend, Rick.
