Connie J. Yelk

MADISON-Connie J. Yelk, born March 31, 1949, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016. She was a caring and generous spirit who enjoyed sports, music, movies, television, shopping and her nieces and nephews. A graduate of UW River Falls, Connie was a career employee of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development. Connie will be missed by her long-time friend and companion, Larry Frisch; sisters, Jane Gilberts, Judy Karls, and Carey (Ralph) Bradley; and nieces and nephews. A gathering to remember her life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016.
