Henry "Hank" James Baggs

MADISON- SUN PRAIRIE – Henry "Hank" James Baggs, age 80, passed away Monday Dec. 12, 2016, at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born on Jan. 20, 1936, in Wilson, Okla. the son of John and Julia (Vassar) Baggs. After childhood, Henry joined the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served from April 6, 1955 to April 5, 1963. After leaving the service, Henry worked in the Madison area as a truck driver until retirement. He enjoyed listening to his country vinyl collection, working on cars, and exploring the greater Madison area. Henry is survived by daughters, Debra Baggs, Barbara A. Baggs, and Marsha Baggs; his sons, Henry James Baggs Jr., Rick (Barbara) Baggs, and Steven Baggs; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, LaVonne; and several other relatives, friends, and fellow servicemen. Graveside services will be held at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS, 3054 Co. Rd.
