To Dave's family: I like to offer my deepest sympathies for your loss of Dave. I worked with Dave when he was an excellent President of the Friends of Donald Park Board of Directors and during his brief tenure as a Tuesday volunteer. Everyone who knew him greatly respected his energy, intellect and vision. He will always be remembered and is greatly missed. I will make a contribution to Donald Park in his name. I had the privilege to walk through Stewart Park with David this summer. He had so much to say and share. New ideas flowed from him with each step. I knew I was in the presence of an incredible man. He told me to establish our Friends group as "park champions". "Every Park needs a champion, every champion a clear mission." His ideas are the frame work for us as Friends of Stewart Park. He is a champions champion. Rest In Peace David, we got this.
