I hope she gets to see grandpa again like we talked about. She took everyone of us grandkids in at one point or another. I was not the best kid and got expelled from middle school. But grandma took me in she gave me this sence that even though I had messed up big she still loved me and was there. She wasnt gonna stand for any lip either or you would get the fly swatter. But she didn't treat me like a little kid. She made me feel special all the time. She knew I had no friends and for the whole time I lived there she was my only friend. I remember we would have movie nights and watch murder she wrote and perry mason episodes. We would eat popcorn and it felt like it was bigger than it really was. She really touched me and will always have a place in my heart. Say a prayer for her tonight and remember a good memory like that so you can see her face again even if for only one last time in your minds eye.

I fell in love with Grandma immediately! I used to go over to her house before the kids were out of school and we would have tea parties. She would tell me all about her dashing husband Bud, how he used to lavish her with gifts from his travels, how much she loved to get all dolled up and go dancing with her sister. She told me the history of all the family members and everything I needed to know about the Macintire family :) I feel very blessed that I was able to know and love her, if only for a few years♡ Valerie Macintire, Jerimiah'S wife
