My deepest sympathy to Faye and all members of Louise's family. She was a wonderful woman!

My sister in law, Jeannie, lived with Louise at Heritage Monona for the last 2 1/2 years. Jeannie thought that Louise and I were cousins, because we shared the same last name. At first, I said "no" we weren't, but I realized it was easier to just accept it. Every time we would see Louise, she would say "there is your cousin". I loved Louise's smile. I could see the twinkle in her eye, that helped me see the Louise that "was". Alzheimer's is such a cruel disease. Louise has been so sad the last few months. It broke my heart to watch her decline..
