PRAIRIE DU SAC-Bonnie Jean Gander, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017. She was born on Sept. 8, 1959, in Hartford. Bonnie was a very caring and giving person, always giving of her time to people in need. She loved nature and spending time with family and friends. Bonnie trusted in Jesus and is home with the Lord. Bonnie is survived by son, Eric Gander; daughter, Marissa Gander; mother, Myrtle Van Horn of Neillsville; siblings, Marilyn Allen (Don Snow) of Oregon, Gordon (Patti) Christianson of Evansville; Allen (Tracy) Christianson of Durand, Ill.; Ricky Peil (Shirley Schultz) of Oxford; Jim (Lindsey) Stevens of Janesville; Renee Acker of Neillsville; Raven (Adam) Miller of Mercer; auntie grandma, Mary Thompson of Beloit; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Your son Eric and I will miss all the time we spent together with you over a number of years at your place talking about life and God and watching movies together. I hope we can pick up where we left off in the life and world to come! Of which you are now part of!
You used to call me your other son, and I always thought of you as a 2nd mom.
