Kathryn "Kathy" Olson

STOUGHTON-Kathryn “Kathy” Olson, age 64, of Stoughton passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at home. She was born on Sept. 23, 1952, in Madison. She married Rocky Olson on Jan. 24, 1970, in Madison. Kathy recently retired from CDW. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy’s most treasured moments were those spent with her grandchildren and while at her second home in Florida. She is survived by her husband, Rocky; daughters, Kristy (Dan) France and Sherri (Josh) Copeland; grandchildren, Giles, Tyler, Rocky, Cierra and Kiptyn; four brothers, Tom (Marilyn) Morgan, John Morgan, Steve (Thuan) Morgan and Harold “Happer” Morgan; three sisters, Sue (Tom) Leikness, Sharen (Al) Stanford and Robin Zintz; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Duane Morgan; mother, Frances Campbell; and sisters, Linda Repsumer and Judi Bothum. Funeral services will be held at COVENANT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1525 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 3 p.m., on Saturday, June 10, 2017, with Pastor Jerry Tews presiding. A lunch at VIKING LANES, 1410 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, will follow the service. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 1358 Hwy. 51 North at Jackson St., Stoughton, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, June 9, 2017, and at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.  A very special thank you to Kathy’s long-time and dear friend Dana Parpart.  She was always there for Kathy, as well as the rest of us, especially during the last few weeks. Dana rarely left her side and we couldn’t have gone through this without her.
