Obituary
MADISON-Alice J. Hansen-Flemming, age 86, of Madison, passed away at home on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017. She was born in Madison on Sept. 18, 1930. Alice married Robert W. Hansen Sr., who preceded her in death in 1971. She was then married to Lawrence Flemming for over 25 years until he passed away. Alice is survived by her children, David (Colleen) Hansen, Sandie (James) Mason and Glen (Colleen) Hansen; and step-daughter, Judy (Lee) Finberg. She was preceded in death by her husbands; and son, Robert Hansen. A private family burial will be held at Blooming Grove Cemetery.

Alice was my neighbor for four years and I enjoyed chatting with her when she would be outside doing yard work. My friend had a habit of leaving her garage door open so I would call her and let her know. She will be missed as she is a sweet and caring friend. Rest in peace my friend . Prayers are being sent to her children and family from Phoenix.

Miss Alice, I did not have the pleasure of ever meeting you. I only knew you from your sweet daughter, Sandra. She talked about you and her father so often, I felt I knew you and I knew I loved you. May your family have peace knowing you are with your husband and I hope you know my own mother, who recently passed, and father and that your journey was a good one and you are pain free and joyous in Our Father's Hands.
