So sorry for the loss of your Mom..even with all the sadness of losing her, reading her obit brought back a lot of great memories. Being so close to Christmas, it brought back my memory as a kid of visiting your house at Christmas time. Those holiday visits, like many others, are good memories. Ron & Barbara (Koch) Mann The loss of a parent is so difficult. You are in our thoughts . Whenever I drive by the home you all lived in growing up I think of your mom and dad each time . Please accept my sincere sympathy. I remember visiting Betty with my father, Joe Ley, when I was young. Betty always struck me as having the no-nonsense practicality of her school teacher aunts, Hilda, Edda, and Leoceda. She was a woman ahead of her time, making her mark as an accountant when few women did that. Kathleen Ley
