In Memory of Maxine Miller Petersen- I began my professional career in the business office of Jackson Clinic under the watchful eyes of Maxine and Lois. Maxine was a strong woman with a wonderful heart and a sense of humor that often filled the office with laughter. I remember stories of Molly Miller. Maxine loved Molly dearly even when Molly's leash got wrapped around her feet one early morning - there were crutches involved I remember. Things worked out just fine... Maxine knew where to find a good doctor. Maxine was very good at her job, and she worked tirelessly to help the physicians and staff manage the business of Jackson Clinic and she always looked beautiful doing it. I am very grateful to Maxine and all that she did for me when I was fresh out of college and ready to begin my life in the business world. She taught me the value of good work andI admired her example as a strong, independent woman. I feel lucky to have had Maxine in my life - My deepest sympathy for your loss - Barb Boyle Kopenski

I met Maxine in April 1975 when I did a Medical Assistant externship at Jackson Clinic. I will always remember her ready smile, great sense of humor and contagious laugh. She was a good friend to my Mom, Yvonne Coppens. We soon became friends and spent many hours through the years riding the Monona bus To and from work. I got to know Dan, Marsha, Sharla and Dan Jr through our conversations as well as Debbie, Danyelle and Britta. I was grateful to keep in touch with Maxine through the years . I am so sorry for your loss. I’m wishing you and all who knew and loved Maxine peace and healing. Godspeed Maxine. Rest Peacefully. 🕊 Never forget that what’s still alive is the legacy she left.

Marsha and Sharla - My deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your Mom. She was always so kind when I spent time at your house when we were in high school. Then I was privileged to work with her at Jackson Clinic early in my working career. She was always a pleasant person to be around.
