Toni Alisa Louther Cole
November 05, 1962 - March 13, 2018
Obituary
MADISON-Toni Alisa (Louther) Cole, age 55, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Our Toni was taken from us way too soon. She was born Nov. 5, 1962, to William and LaVonne (Allen) Louther. She attended Dudgeon Elementary School for kindergarten, Blessed Sacrament and Madison West High School. She graduated with a B.B.A. from Elmhurst College. Toni was currently employed at DXC Technology. She married her best friend, Casey Cole, on May 31, 2003, in a beautiful ceremony in Minocqua. Their son, Tyler, was Toni’s pride and joy, to say it mildly. She loved her son with all her heart. Toni enjoyed working in the garden, animals of all kinds, but especially Bailey, their dog and two cats, Gingerbread and Little Man. Toni looked forward to her time at Blue Lake and taking cruises in the Caribbean with her family. She took care of everyone around her, and loved her family, her work family, and her friends with understanding, humility and humor. She loved to laugh and to make you laugh. Toni’s incredible silly sense of humor was endless. There is one less light on earth, but we can all keep her with us, with just a smile to remember how she touched each and every one of us. Toni is survived by her husband, Casey; son, Tyler; mother, LaVonne; siblings, Debi (Dave) Haley of San Diego, Scott Louther and J. Michael (Linda) Louther of Arizona, Brian (Cynthia Tahtinen), Mona (Kevin) Peirce and Marti (Rik Adams) Louther of Seattle; Toni’s in-laws, Al and Kari Ellen Cole, Becky Cole (Mike Porter) and Tony (Kristen) Cole; and so many nieces and nephews whom she smothered with her famous hugs. She was preceded in death by her father, William; siblings, William (Casey) Louther Jr. and Tamalynn “Tami” Louther Albrecht. A funeral service will be held at MIDVALE COMMUNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4629 Tokay Blvd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, with a luncheon following at the church. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018, and again at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Toni was such a bright soul; we ask that in honor of her memory, please wear brightly colored clothes to her service. She would love that. In lieu of flowers, we will be setting up an educational fund for their son, Tyler. Memorials may be made out to the “Toni Cole Memorial” and mailed to Monona Bank, 341 W. Cottage Grove Rd., Cottage Grove, WI 53527. Geri Gibbons has started a “Go Fund Me” page at www.gofundme.com/tonilouthercole. Toni, even though you are no longer with us physically, you will live on in our hearts, forever!! Online condolences may be made at gundersonfh.com.

I am s very saddened by this news. So many fond memories of the entire Luther family for so many years. My heart breaks for you. I am so sorry that I won't be able to attend Toni's final sendoff. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Toni, I promised you before the holiday's that I would stop after, well I was going to stop at your office the other day and life just got in the way like it always does. Then I got home and got the news about you, even though I didn't work for you anymore I could always stop and have a chat with you, you were a great supervisor and an amazing person. Always ready with a smile and a hug or a word of wisdom, you will be missed by all. May your family find hope in the fact that they have a wonderful angel watching over them.

I have know Toni since she was a little girl. We had something in common, we both loved hugging. She followed me around and we would cuddle and talk and sometimes sing with Tammy.
Toni had big beautiful eyes and at that time in her life didn't talk much but was definitely taking it all in by the questions she would ask me. As she grew older she developed a wonderful sense of humor which meant if Toni was in the room, joy always followed. She was a delight to be around. The years went by and we didn't see one another often but when we did we both were teary-eyed and hugged a long time and said how much we loved one another. I will miss those hugs and her presence. My condolences and love to you all.

Toni, was always full of life and laughter. She loved her son Tyler and would talk about him often. You are now his Mama Angel to watch over him. You were a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed working with you till the end. God Bless, you and your family and give them strength and courage to carry on and help them remember all the good times and love you shared together. RIP Toni

I can't believe this is true. Toni was always willing to lend a hand to help, an ear to listen. Always making you feel better. Selfless and caring. May she have peace in Heaven. My prayers to the family. I can not imagine your pain. She will forever be remembered . Tyler always know, you were the best thing that ever happened to your mom.
