Lt. Commander Ruth E. (Barrow) Bar

Ruth was a gentle and loving soul. Her love for her family was evident every day. I was fortunate to have her as a coworker and friend. Her positive caring spirit will be a wonderful addition to the universe of souls she now joins!

Ruth had true class, she will be greatly missed.

I've known the Barrow family since 1961, and am saddened to hear of Ruth's passing in April. I had heard several years ago from her parents that she was under some treatment regimen. I know RAdm and Mrs Barrow was proud of her service as a Navy nurse. Condolences to her family, Elizabeth and family, and Mary and family.
