Joyce I. Walford

OREGON- Joyce I. Walford, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born on June 5, 1937, in rural Mt Horeb, to Julian and Selma Martinson of Black Earth. Joyce married Donald L. Walford in Oct. of 1966. She is survived by her children, Rich and Paula Walford of Brooklyn, Larry and Sheila Walford of Evansville, Dennis and Nancy Bong of Middleton, David and Robin Bong of Middleton, Sandy and John Lampe of  Madison, David and Karen Walford of Verona and Sue and Bucky Patterson of Huston, Texas; grandchildren, Shane Walford of Brooklyn, Rheannon Walford of Brooklyn,  Brad and Danielle Gaffeny of Albany, Brittney Walford and Nikk Leak of Janesville, Amanda and Robbie Lehr of Cross Plains, Sara and Ian Allen of Cross Plains, Dan and Stacy Bong of Middleton, DJ Bong and Nicole Bong of Middleton, David and Allison Walford of Wisconsin Dells, Arisa and Earl Williams of Verona and  Senri Walford of Madison; along with many great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings, Roger and Joann Martinson of Madison, Shelby and Arlyn of Black Earth, Julian Martinson and Kay Henes of Waunakee, Chris Martinson of Columbus and John and Peggy Martinson of Minocqua. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Selma Martinson; her husband, Donald Walford; son, Bobby Bong; and sister, Viola Martinson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday.  Joyce will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
