Mary Jean was a much loved friend of my mother Elizabeth Spangler who lived in Oregon until 2001 and was also a member of the People’s United Methodist church. After mother moved back to Richland Center in 2001 she often talked to Mary Jean on the phone. Mary Jean was a treasured friend and mother mentioned her often until her death at 103 in 2013. Our sympathy to her entire family.

I did not know Mrs. McGrath However I know her granddaughter. Molly & consider her family. Knowing how wonderful the Tim & Susan McGrath family is, I believe her to be wonderful also. I send my warmest condolences to all of your families & friends whose lives have been touched by her. RIP Grandma McGrath & enjoy time now with your great son, Tim.

Dear McGrath Family,
Bob and I are so sad about Mary Jean’s passing.... such an enormous loss.
She was a wonderful woman in every way. When we would visit her she made us feel like family. She always asked about our lives, had a fun story to share about her family, a big bright smile and positive outlook.
We hope to live as full a life as she did. Caring, nurturing, and inspiring so many...we need many more Mary Jeans in this World.
Please know I am thinking of all of you even though I am not able to attend the services. I am with my 93 year old Dad in Bayfield....treasuring our time together all the more.
Love,
Patty Wood
