Rev. George M. Orvick

How grateful I am for the life of dear Pastor Orvick, who baptized and confirmed me, pointing me to the love of Jesus. I mourn his passing and rejoice that my beloved shepherd now rests eternally with the Good Shepherd. On behalf of the Marshall and Caryl Browne family, I extend our deepest sympathy to Ruth, Dan, Emily, Mark, and Kirsten, our old friends at Holy Cross.

Richard and I were so blessed to have Pastor and Mrs. Orvick visit at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lakeland, Florida. He was a wonderful example of God's love to his people. Elaine Jones

It was with great sorrow and great joy that I learned of the passing of Pastor Orvick …. sorrow because a loving Shepherd is no longer with us but joy knowing that he now strolls in the ultimate green pasture.
