On behalf of the Berean Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA we express our sorrow to the family, and yet we rejoice that Dave's faith in Jesus Christ assures us that Dave is in His presence. May God's grace strengthen and comfort family, friends, co-workers and care givers who were involved in Dave's life. Pastor Todd

Deepest sympathy to the Butler family. I have fond memories of David at Lyons Middle School as his coach and teacher. Also, remember when he drove a group of us in a van to the start of RAGBRAI one year. Good to see his smile in this picture; so sorry about his passing. Richard Grugin

Dave was the epitome of humility, and it was a privilege to have known and worked with him for the past 10 years . He was 'all in' every day and took care of his NAMI family with a smile and 'can do' attitude. He will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace, my friend.

RIP to a good man. Dave was a gentleman, daily giving his energy and focus to everyone around him. Mild mannered, but the most dependable coworker. Sir, it was a pleasure working w you. We'll all miss. Gone too soon. Take care, brother. -Jason Wardy
