Sorry to read about Doug's passing. We were in the same class at B.E. and grew up 1 1/2 miles from each other on highway 78. Unfortunately I only saw him at class reunions after graduation. I remember his wonderful, dry humor. The entire class believed his given name was Douglas and we called him "Norm" because of his dad.
My sincere sympathy.

Be assured of my love for you Mike and Tom and for your families. I continue to pray for you all. May His love enfold you and His comfort strengthen you. Douger was an amazing man and I thank God I could have a small part in his life.

My deepest sympathy to Doug's sons, their families and brothers especially Mike. What a huge loss of a wonderful man who made everyone feel special and it didn't make a difference if you were young or old. We had more fun golfing, walking up and down the Dells eating caramel apples and fudge, going to Muskies' games, eating out, especially with "the gang" at O'Malley's drinking coffee and talking all morning long. He had names for everyone and a great sense of humor. I feel privileged to have been his friend - he was THE BEST!
Sammy and Two-Sheds will miss you.
