Diana L. Burnett (Janutolo, Hazen)

I did not know Diana but may her beautiful soul rest in peace

Diana published my book, Clean to the Bone, and was constantly supportive through the whole process. We became good friends, sharing our struggles with writing, life, and eventually her illness. I will miss her more than I can say. Jan Levine Thal.

My fondest memory is when we were riding the bus to work and you told me you were pregnant. You were elated and so excited, bubbling over with joy. And Bob and I were so fortunate to drive you to the hospital in the snow storm when it was time for Peter to arrive. Always so kind, joyful and caring, you fought this battle with the strong support of your family. I will miss you, as will so many others, and consider myself lucky to have had our friendship.

I never met Diana, but Peter J. talked about her regularly. From the stories, she seemed like a person that was admired and loved tremendously by her son.

We shared a wonderful time on a cruise, and then a week in Bali! So very sad!
