Randall "Randy" Joseph Schram

MADISON- Randall "Randy" Joseph Schram was born on July 28, 1951, and passed away June 12, 2019. He left this wonderful world struggling with various health issues that took his life swiftly with the support and blessings of St.Mary's Hospital in Madison. Randall was born in Racine, but eventually moved with his family to Monona. He continued his schooling in Monona, graduating from Monona Grove High school in 1969. Randy then continued his education by attending MATC where he furthered his love for cooking and expanded his culinary talent. Over the years, Randy worked at many restaurants and became a talented chef at establishments like Crandall's, The Pig's Ear, Buds’ House of Sandwiches, Inn on the Park, and The Esquire. These were, however, just a few of the places he shared his culinary talent at. In October 2016, Randy retired from Central Wisconsin Center ending his career in the food service industry with a perfect attendance award. Randy was a sport enthusiast and you could catch him cheering on the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers every season. Randy also enjoyed being a part of the billiards scene and was on various pool leagues, including being a member of the champion team in 2003. Randy was an amazing brother and uncle and loved to spend time with his family on birthdays and holidays. He will be missed immensely by everyone who knew him or was even a small part of their life. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae Beyer (Hamilton) from Sheboygan, and his father, Joseph George Schram from Racine. He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl (Jeff) Cook and Jill Schroeder; his nieces, Shannon Schroeder and Melissa Schroeder; and loyal friend of 30 years, Kathy Boldon. Memorial of flowers and cards may be sent to family. A life party for Randy will be held at the Echo Tap & Grill, 2632, 554 W. Main St., Madison from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019.
