Tom was not just my father in-law, he was my friend, mentor, and an advocate for me and my family. Tom was an eternal optimist and used that positive attitude to guide his own life and was a role model to those in his “circle of influence. As my own father passed five years ago, I was proud to call Tom dad.

Tom reported to me at Oakwood Village as my purchasing manager. Tom was always professional and looked out for the best interest of the company. I got to know Tom better as time went on and I appreciated his friendship, humor, and kindness. I was lucky to know Tom. It is a sad day for all that knew him. God bless my friend.

Tom was our backyard neighbor along with his wife, Linda. There was never a time that he drove or jogged by that he didn't smile, wave and stop to chat if he had the time. Such a sweet man, with a great attitude and positive energy. We will miss him in our little cul-de-sac . He certainly brightened up our world!
Goodbye Tom and Godspeed!

I’ve always adored your parents Melissa. While I didn’t know your dad well, he was always kind and engaging. He was genuinely good-hearted and that was easy to see. Linda, my heart goes out to you. I’m so sorry. You and Tom created wonderful children and grandchildren who display Tom’s (and your) sweet and generous disposition. Through them a bit of Tom lives on.

I had the opportunity to work with Tom while working at Veridian Homes. I enjoyed working with Tom and every interaction I had with him. Tom was a true professional, but more importantly, he was a great man, who looked out for people on a personal level. The world lost a great man!
