I had the pleasure of having Dave & Mary Jane as my neighbors while living in Middleton WI. I will always remember our passing during are daily walks. I would be coming back from my walk and Dave would be just beginning his walk. My deepest condolences❤ Julie Olson

I had the privilege of having Dr. Z as a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He was one of those rare people that I have encountered during the course of my life that has left an impression on my life that will last forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Dear Mary Jane...So sorry to learn of David's passing in the Sunday paper. I retain fond memories of his and your years at the First Unitarian Society. His was indeed a gentle and insightful presence and we had any number of stimulating conversations before dementia took its toll. Sincere condolences and very best wishes...Michael Schuler, Minister Emeritus

Scott, Mark, & Tonya,
We were so sad to see your father’s obituary. We believe the description of him in the paper on Sunday was so true to our memory of him. The picture which accompanied the obituary is the way we remember David. We can still see him walking across the Platteville campus on his way to his office. You are all in our memories, Judy, Paul, Lea Ann, & Carrie Moriarty

Dave was an amazing feminist and supporter of Women's Studies at UW-Platteville. I am so sorry to hear about his loss; I won't ever forget him.
