C. Stanley Grimstad

I have many pleasant memories of working with Stan when he was South Area Director of State Emergency Management and I was the State Training Coordinator. He was always pleasant and good humored and a pleasure to be around. To my recollection, he was the first representative of the state on the scene of the tragic tornado in and around Barneveld in Iowa County in June of 1984. On behalf of my father, Errol Pringle (Ruth (Grimstad) Pringle's son), we send our deepest condolences to the family for the loss of a wonderful man. Dad respected and always spoke highly of Uncle Stanley; he's very saddened to hear of his passing. Dad said, "he hopes he can live just as long".
