Karen & Jean, thoughts and prayers go out to your families on the passing of your mom Bette. I worked with your dad at the PO and we had a A-Frame cottage on Wis. St 2 blocks from your folks in the Dellwood subdivision of Adams Friendship area. On occasion we would eat fish on Friday nites with them at Tinny's, Main st station or the golf club. They would want to leave by the end of Oct for their winter get a way to Lake Okeechobee Fl via detour to the state of Washington to visit Jean. Oh how Bette loved playing cards especially Euchre and was she ever a talker. Thank you Karen for keeping me posted where/how your mom was doing these past few years via your Christmas news letter.
