MOUNT HOREB-Robert Gaylord "Bob" Grender, age 90, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020 at Ingleside Manor. He was born on Dec. 22, 1929, in Mount Horeb, the son of Reuben and Gena (Nelson) Grinder. Bob graduated from Mount Horeb High School in 1947. Bob was baptized, confirmed and married at Perry Lutheran Church. As lifetime member there, he also took great pride in being the church cemetery's grounds keeper. He gave back to his community by donating over 11 gallons of blood to the Red Cross and was a member of the Mount Horeb American Legion Post 113. So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Lots of fond memories of our younger years in Daleyville. We are in Biloxi, MS for the winter but will be thinking of all of you over the next few days and beyond.
