Very bitter sweet day yesterday. My kind generous sweet beautiful sister partner ended her long miserable journey to her beautiful new restful happy place. I’ve been missing you for several years now. I will miss you even more now. Send me signs that you are happy. I will be watching for them. I’m sure the signs will be unique just like you. I wish I had a better word then LOVE but for now that will have to do. So long until we get together again. Love you

Lucie you will always be a part of my heart. It all started on mound street as you told the story how you saved me as baby climbing the curtains as they were falling. As I grew older you tried to teach me how to walk and sit,and wear make-up. You were always there for me in good times and bad times, Dick like teasing us saying we could talk all night. I love you so much I pretended to like doing jig saw puzzles and going out for Thai food. I LOVE YOU. RITA

Goodbye to my elegant cousin Lucie. I always thought you were the most beautiful person in the world, both inside and out. I remember sitting in your bedroom watching you get ready to go out on dates. You sat with me while I watched the Wizard of Oz for the first time and calmed my fears when the wicked witch came on the black-and-white TV in the Gorham Street apartment. I also remember you playing the piano and your laugh, which was so melodic! Your aunt Evelyn wants you to know that you were her inspiration for writing her poems and stories. After all, you are the subject of her very first story, “The princess who wouldn’t wash.” I can hear you laughing 😆
God speed Lucie , and may your spirit be at peace.
