Linda was a sweet and caring person who I’ve always admired. I used to run into her now and then when I worked downtown in recent years. It always brightened my day when I saw her friendly smile. I also worked with Linda’s sister Bev who sadly passed away too soon as well in 2014. Both Linda and Bev had beautiful souls and are now reunited in Heaven! I am so sorry for your loss Chris and family! Please accept my condolences!

I started working at DOJ/DCI in 2011, during what can best be described as a turbulent time. As a new employee, Linda was the first person I met on my first day at work. Linda was the most genuine, kind and upbeat soul throughout the few years that I had the pleasure of working with her. She was always friendly and professional and was quick to warm up your mood with her infectious smile. As family and friends grieve her passing they should find comfort in knowing that Linda was loved and respected in her professional life as she was in her personal life. RIP to a sweet lady!

To the Family of Linda Schenk, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had the honor and privilege to have worked with Linda at the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation. She was a joy to work with. Always smiling, always helpful and committed to making sure her work helped make our Special Agents throughout the state safe and successful. We will miss her and we will have a special place in our hearts for our memories of her. Sincerely, David Collins Retired Superintendent Wisconsin State Patrol

I am so Very Sorry for your loss. Linda was truly a Kind and Happy person. She was always able to transfer these feelings to others. I spoke with her many times during my 20+ yr career at DCI and I always left our visits or phone calls laughing or smiling!! The last time that I left her she gave me a huge hug and wished me a GREAT RETIREMENT! She will be missed by all who knew her. Jeff Kostner DCI Special Agent (Ret)
