Jeff Culbertson

To Jeff's family: I am so sorry to hear that Jeff has passed away...and on my own daughter's birthday. So I will remember his kindness always. He was a good longtime, friend of my husband Jim Strand, who passed in 2017. They were friends from childhood until Jim passed. Jeff was a fantastic writer and he wrote me a letter about sharing his youth with Jim that I will forever cherish. It was compassionate, funny, and I could tell that Jeff was a person who could find the best in people's personalities. I was hoping to see him if I ever made it to the Dells area again. We shared a passion for The International Crane Foundation. Jim and I went there to photograph the amazing birds a few times. Jeff and I also shared a passion about politics and the way the world was going. I loved the fact that he shared Katherine's beautiful art. I am really saddened. I went to his FB site because I hadn't seen anything from him in a while. May he be in peace after a life of helping others. Sally Strand MN
