Obituary
MADISON - Steve R. Harrison, age 64, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Oct. 20, 1956, in Madison, the son of Carl and Mary (Butler) Harrison.
Steve graduated from Madison Memorial High School, Edgewood College and St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Ind. He worked at American Girl in Middleton for many years.
Steve's life was filled with music. He enjoyed singing at the UW-Madison tudor dinner every year and sang in many Madison and surrounding area Catholic churches. He started singing with St. James Catholic Church Choir and was a member of the Diocesan Choir and Philharmonic Choir. Steve was also a cantor for both St. Patrick and Covenant Presbyterian Church Choir. He enjoyed socializing with people wherever he went or visited and loved to travel to Ireland.
Steve is survived by his mother, Mary; and brother, David Harrison; and nephew James Eastlick Harrison. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC PARISH AT THE ST. JAMES CHURCH, 1128 St. James Court, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Wednesday. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will be held at a later date.
