Our sincere sympathies. Wayne was one of a kind. As I write this I can hear his hearty laugh and see that sparkle in his eyes. I will miss his generous spirit and the many laughs and stories we shared. He was our financial advisor but more so he was our longtime friend. We will miss him dearly. So unbelievable! A youthful, fit, virile, man who truly enjoyed his life and his participation with our softball team. I met him only this summer and viewed him as a true friend. I will miss his play by play commentary and his sports banter. I’m sure he is hitting perfect line drives in the great game in the hereafter. I will miss him. So sad, too young. Wayne and I were friends in high school and briefly college roommates. The attached picture is from our high school graduation celebratory camping trip at Lake Arbutus near Black River Falls. Despite his fear of water he joined us on a variety of boats to be part of the fun. He was a good sport, a good spirit and a good friend.
