MIDDLETON - Maurice C. "Reese" Robinson, age 57, of Middleton, passed away at home on Thursday, June 2, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 1, 1965, in Gary, Ind. Reese died of prostate cancer that had spread throughout his body.
Reese attended Roosevelt High School in Gary and he spent most of his life in the customer service area. He enjoyed talking with people. He was what you would call a “people person.” Reese spent the last nine years working for Porchlight as a Night Manager at the men’s homeless shelter. This was his favorite of all his various jobs. He was a lover of life, sports, cartoons, ping pong, dancing and music. He also enjoyed playing Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.
Reese is survived by his three daughters, Nicole (Richard Fenne Jr.) Engelhart, Nikita (Jordan Dillard) Robinson and Natalie (Chevy Branch) Robinson, all of Madison, Wis. He was blessed to have a granddaughter, Loyalty, and grandson, Richard Fenne III. He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Robinson of Gary; brothers, Fred Robinson Jr. and Earl Ryan; and special friend, Sue Small.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Moore; and grandparents, Surprise and Pecola Ryan and John and Pearline Robinson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
