I was fortunate to see Jim occasionally over the years at family weddings or when he and Lois would visit Ron and Loni in Monroe. While I did not know him well, he always greeted me like I was an old friend he was so happy to see with a smile, a hug, and humor. All the stories I have heard over the years demonstrated how much love and devotion he felt for his family. I am so sorry for your loss. How fortunate you were to have this wonderful man in your life. I hope warm memories help you all through this difficult time.

I was fortunate to be Jim's doctor for a few years in recent memory, and seeing him was always the highlight of my day. His bright blue eyes, warm smile and humor always lit up the room. Condolences to his friends and family: I know he will be sorely missed.

I have loved my Uncle Jim for 56 years. I have early memories of sitting in the congregation as a 3or 4 year old waving and yelling out "Hi Uncle Jim!" - it was like he was a rock star. Our Thanksgivings growing up were at Aunt Lou and Uncle Jim's with all the cousins together. Amazing memories. I'm so grateful that he was in our lives. I'm holding you all in my heart. Susan
