I had the pleasure of conversation with Lucy in the last weeks of Ross' life. Until reading this beautiful obituary I knew nothing of his Rossario/Italian background. I felt a bond with Lucy as we shared "the farm" backgrounds we each held, although neither was born into a rural area. Please know I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. The faith and the resilience you have shown during this very difficult time will lift you and carry you. What a blessing you have with those children and grandchildren -- speak often about him and share memories together. My deepest sympathy to everyone.

My sincere condolences to the family. He was a good guy that always made people feel welcome. My hope is that he's raising a glass with Peterson, Temby and Larry in heaven.
Those boys sure enjoyed their time at Rossarios together with Ross and the rest of the gang. The "Cheers" of Monona. Hugs to Rossi Jr and Mary I'm so sorry for your loss.

I first met Ross at his restaurant in Monona; a few years later I met his bride at (Agrace) HospiceCare. When I first saw them together, I saw a beautiful couple of individuals who had ample amounts of wisdom, humor and praise for each other and for the One who made them. Eternal rest grant unto Ross, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. And, as we remember him, may the smile never fade from our lips.

I have always admired and loved this family, and I am so deeply sorry that this good man was taken away from them but I know that there is also rejoicing because he is with our Lord and Savior… What better place could there be? I do send my deepest and most sincere sympathy to the family and friends that will be missing him. Thank you for the great background given.
