Bob was a beautiful skier and gracious gentleman. His style is cemented in my memory. The last year he taught at DH we saw each other a few times. He always had a wave or a smile. I saw him once, as I was getting off the lift, and chased him down Cyclops(3) one time. I caught him, only because he stopped, at the bend just above 3 1/4. I stopped too, and we had a chat about skiing. Another time we saw each other in the cafeteria and talked family.
I made some runs and turns down Cyclops today in his honor. Rest In Peace Soldier. I wish for good and happy memories to overcome the grief at the loss of your Dad, Grandpa, and Brother.

I met Bob through his upstairs window when I came searching for him in 2021 as my Dad, a neighborhood friend, had passed. Bob was unable to come downstairs but was so friendly, and got me in touch with daughter Tracy, my deceased sister's best childhood friend. To this day Tracy and I are in touch and I will always remember him for this. Tracy was a loving daughter to her dad, they were both blessed.

Kathy,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your father-in- law. As long as someone remembers him, he is not really gone.

Tracy and Rob: I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was such a wonderful man....I have so many memories of him, and your mom...such careing neighbors...hard to find people like that anymore....I know he will be watching down on you and your families...he is not hurting anymore, that's the important thing....will miss him talking to me thru his bedroom window or coming out on the deck asking about his neighbor dogs...I will miss him so much...Rest in Peace Dear Neighbor...
