Donald Duane "Donnie" Moldenhauer, Jr.

REEDSBURG- Donald Duane “Donnie” Moldenhauer Jr., age 61, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at Ingleside Manor. He was born on Dec. 18, 1961, in Madison, the son of Donald Sr. and Vivian (Preister) Moldenhauer.

Donnie grew up in Iowa. He liked riding his bike and watching action movies. He spent a lot of time helping his father with the family’s pizza business in Davenport, Iowa, and later took up truck driving. Donnie loved eating Culver’s fish frys, going for car rides and listening to Country Music. He sometimes struggled at coping with all that life threw at him, but he persisted! Always.

We are glad that your mind and body are finally at peace, and are comforted knowing you will be reunited by our loved ones who have gone before you. Preferring solitude, at times, it was sometimes difficult to get close, but Donnie we will always love you and will miss you forever.

Donnie is survived by his brother, Mark Moldenhauer of Rock Island, Ill.; and sister, Debra Moldenhauer-Furlong of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald (2016) and Vivian (Priester) (2017); and his sisters, Barbara J. Moldenhauer (2003) and Crystal Lutz (2003).

A graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, in Davenport, Iowa, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023.
