Penny was a stalwart of my childhood. When I fell and broke my arm while my parents were out of town and my weekend babysitter had yet to arrive, the first person I called was Penny and she took me right to see Zorba to get patched up. She was a truly good person and she will be greatly missed. Zorba, Zak, Deedee, Eli and Vanessa, you are all in my thoughts during this difficult time. -Andrew

We were energized by the amazing force of Penny! Her positive outlook and drive always stood out in a “good for all” process weather it was at soccer with all our kids or seeking balance when there were challenges. We are fortunate to have known her and will remember her, as tiny as she was, that she could give the biggest strong hugs that resonated love regardless of words being spoken. She was truly a gem. Wishing all the Family the very best memories to keep in your heart… Love The Mike & Pam Raschein Family

Zorba and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Penny's passing. Our family met your family when our son, Chad, was in Odyssey of Mind and Penny was their coach. We have wonderful memories of her from those days.
May she rest in peace and your memories sustain you during this time.

So sorry to hear of Penny's passing. I met her a few times when I was a child. Zorba was our family physician for many, many years, and always spoke so kindly of her and the kids. Lisa (Heiking) Walton

I was never blessed to have met Penny, but her husband was my PCP at the Oregon Clinic when I lived there, and literally saved my life through diagnoses and guidance in my own care. The last time I saw Zorba was in Roxbury at a show our band was playing about 10 or so years ago. He was on crutches but we spoke and he was more concerned about me than himself. A truly loving person. I send you all my Brotherly Love, Dr. Z. I have lost loved ones, and I know the pain and heartache. You have given so much to so many, and all I have to give back is love and prayers. I wish I could have met Penny - after reading her memoriam I understand how wonderful she must have been. All my love to you and your family ❤️
