Obituary
KENOSHA - Robert Joseph “Bob” Lessard, age 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Sept. 28, 1939, in Eau Claire, Wis., the son of Adolph and Gladys (Garnett) Lessard.
He married Yvonne Bowler on March 3, 1962, in Eau Claire, Wis., and he devoted his life to taking care of his family.
Bob worked for American Motors/Chrysler for 42 years where he was an inspector. While there, he served as the chief steward for the UAW Local 72 Union. He also was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Bob loved bowling and puzzles and he was an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports.
Bob is survived by his wife, Yvonne; daughter, Vicki (Sue Bickford) Lessard; son, Greg (Cathy) Lessard; sister, Betty Ellison; grandson, Kyle Muhs; two granddaughters, Jennifer Kruse and Chassadie Kruse; great-grandson, Brennen Richards; and great-granddaughter, Alivia Dziadosz. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristin Muhs; and sister, Nancy Rogers.
A funeral service will be held at PIASECKI FUNERAL HOME, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, at 12:30 p.m. on Friday Oct. 20, 2023. A private family burial will follow. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Kidney Fund and American Cancer Society.
