My condolences to all of Sally’s family. Betsy and I talked about our mothers and they seem to have been cut from the same cloth. This world has lost a gem and a shining example of how to live, the values that are important in life and how to leave this world a better place. She was a great role model for all of us.

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Iverson family. Mrs Iverson was always so kind, sincere and thoughtful. It was parents like her who made Monona such a wonderful place to live in back in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s..

Sally was my neighbor-across-the-street in Monona since 2010. Before I closed on my house, I'd swing by on my bike, eager to move in. Sally, invariably out in the yard on her ride-on mower, *always* hopped off the mower and gave me a big hug, no matter how sweaty I was. She did indeed live by the recipe for life you shared. She was sooo proud of her children and grandchildren -- and rightly so -- and lived for the big family get-togethers. We who live on Flamingo Road have missed Sally's presence these last few years, but without a doubt, she was and will remain an example of what it means to be a truly good and caring neighbor. I send my condolences to the family and her many friends. - Jo Ortel
