MADISON - Barbara Lynn Baggs (Ruud) age 61, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. She was born in Madison on May 2, 1962, to parents, Gene and Bonnie (Henning) Ruud. Barb graduated from La Follette High School in 1980. Barbara married Rick Baggs in 1980; they had two children, Ryan and Heather.
Barbara lived a good life; she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Barbara also enjoyed spending time and money on slot machines.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Rick; her children, Ryan Baggs and Heather (Jeff) Wendt; her grandchildren, Landyn, Avett, and a grandbaby due in May; her mother, Bonnie Ruud; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Ruud; and her sister, Cheryl Ruud.
