FORT MYERS, Fla. - Sheryl J. Lingard, age 60, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away on May 18, 2024. She was born on Oct. 28, 1963, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Sharon and Ron Lingard.
Sheryl attended Madison East High School. She was an accomplished professional beautician, flight attendant, and pharmacy technician. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. Her favorite place to be was at Bonita Beach near her home in Fort Myers, Fla. Her happiest times were spent doting on her niece and nephews, who brought out her inner child. She always made their time together extra fun and special.
Sheryl is survived by her sisters, Renee (Mick) Heinrich, Becky Slater and Lori Bembenek; brother, Dean Lingard; and her niece and many nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the service on Friday.
